In 1970, Lothar Held and his wife Gudrun took over the company. Under their leadership, FRANK WALDER expanded throughout Europe, offering perfectly coordinated fashion across a variety of categories:

A Family Business with Heart and Responsibility
Since 2000, Tilman Held – and since 2005, Carolin Kittel – have led the company into its third generation. With heart, responsibility, and a close relationship with customers, they continue to evolve the brand. In 2005, the name was changed to FRANK WALDER to reflect growing international appeal. Today, more than 60% of sales are in exports.

In addition to retail partners, FRANK WALDER runs its own online shop. In 2016, the younger label TUZZI was acquired to reach a broader audience. Innovation remains a constant focus – as seen with the introduction of the new line “FRANK WALDER Casual.”

Premium quality is a given: our return rate is under 1%, and our long-lasting materials ensure that our fashion maintains its shape and comfort even after many washes. Thanks to a high elastane content, our garments are comfortable, easy-care, washable, and often wrinkle-free.
Our 30-member design team creates new looks every day with passion and style. Our collections are perfectly coordinated so jackets, trousers, shirts, and accessories combine effortlessly – helping every woman express her personal fashion sense all year round.
Sustainability is important to us: many of our shirts and tops are made from certified LENZING™ ECOVERO™ viscose and cotton – resulting in fewer emissions and a better (eco) world. Around 80% of our fabrics are sourced from Europe, and about 75% of our collection is produced in Europe – much of it in our own factories in Eastern Europe. This shortens transport routes and reduces CO₂ emissions. Our 2,500 m² photovoltaic system provides green energy for the entire company.
